What a month it has been!!!!!
When mom and I finally got out of Arizona we kept thinking something is going to happen. Seriously. We just knew something was going to pull us back to Arizona but we made it to Missouri only to discover that the McMahon RV didn't do the paperwork and I couldn't license the van. We were stuck in Camdenton Missouri. Fortunatley, Robert aka Hannah's beau, knew who to call, who to piss off, and got the ball rolling. It took a week but we were finally legal.
During the week we were in Camdenton, I rented a car and I took off to Swedeborg to visit my friend of 27 years, Carol. I also visited with her daughter, daughter-in-law, and her dad. It was great fun. When Paul, Carol's dad was younger I often forgot he was blind because he just didn't act like someone who was blind. This is a gentleman who tore down houses, small sheds and lived with a wonderful woman (Betty) who could move the walls in their home. He was never treated like a blind man. Now he is in a nursing home and frail. When I was feeding him I forgot to tell him what I was giving him and he would yell at me "Whats this?" I started feeding him and saying "this is roast beef, this is cabbage, this is potatoes...." I got to this pile of something and looked at Carol and she mouthed stuffing. So I popped some in Paul's mouth and said "This is stuffing..." He yelled "It taste like shit." I just about fell out of my chair and that got everyone's sick sense of humor going.... I won't go into details except to say that everyone knew what Paul thought of his lunch. Everyone is doing fine in Carol's family.
We didn't see Marion but we will this week. We have to go back for a couple of days.
After Camdenton we ended up in Kansas visiting Hannah and Robert and getting some warrenty work done on the van. That of course put us in a hotel for a few days. I am happy to say we are now back in our itty bitty house on wheels.
Tomorrow we are heading to Lawrence Kansas to wander the cemetery there and do a little window shopping. Sunday we are heading to Lebanon to visit with Lil aka my children's aunt, ex sister in law. Hannah and Robert will be with us and we plan to go to the cemetery in Lebanon. I think.
During the month since I last blogged we have been to Osceola Missouri, Carlyle Illinois, not only did we get to visit with my sister and her family we also went camping with Deanie. Mom and I also made it to Marshall Missouri to see Jim The Wonder Dog Memorial Park and also visited the cemetery. We also visited the Booneville Missouri cemetery. It has been a crazy wonderful month.
I will be posting pictures on my website. I plan to work on it tomorrow. I am learning a new program and sometimes it is a chore to teach this old dog a new trick.

Thank you, Pepper, for inviting me here. I'm so glad to be back in the know.
Sorry to hear you've given up the RV, but I understand the many obstacles. I see you're on the road. If you are back in AZ in Nov, let me know. I'll be in Tucson from 11/12 through 11/16, an I'd love to try to meet for lunch or coffee.
Great to hear from you again !
Kelly
