Traffic

I have noticed that folks in south Texas drive on the shoulder. I followed one car for a good five miles before he pulled back onto the road. I couldn't figure it out; he maintained the same speed the whole time he was on the shoulder. I thought it was just a fluke but it has happened several times. It wasn't until yesterday that I realized they wanted me to pass them. If they would have slowed down a little under the speed limit I would have taken the hint. The majority of the cars, trucks just pulled over and stayed at the legal speed limit.

Border Patrol
When I have to stop at a border patrol station I have to suppress the urge to be sarcastic. They will lean into the window and ask "Are you citizens?" I want to say "No, just a couple of rednecks from Missouri." We were even given the two minute quiz. "Hi folks, where did you come from, where are you going, do you have anything in the car, and are you citizens."

Can't see em until you step on em barefooted.

Camera
Give mom a camera for Christmas and she will get even for every lousy picture I have taken of her.

Alarms
Why is it that every item we have that has an alarm, sound the same? The phone emits its alarm signifying a dying battery and mom and I will jump up and check the refrigerator, the TV, the alarm clock, the hot water heater, the microwave..... Well you get the picture.
