We both needed to shower and we had no other choice but to buck up. We really enjoyed the park, and the hiking trails. The people were all friendly and we had great neighbors. So it was a give and take park. We did enjoy our stay.

Elk City
May 5th found us staying at Elk City State Park. My analogy of it would be "it is a beautiful
woman with dirty underwear." It is a beautiful,
well manicured state park but the showers were filthy and you have to
dump your tanks by laying the hose on a grate and let it rip. It was
pretty nasty.
We both needed to shower and we had no other choice but to buck up. We really enjoyed the park, and the hiking trails. The people were all friendly and we had great neighbors. So it was a give and take park. We did enjoy our stay.
