Back At The Campground

This morning we awoke to rain and scrapped our plans to visit another State Park.  We decided to do laundry instead and then grab a bite to eat.  We have two maybe three nights of freezing temps and we have been forewarned.  When we arrived back at the campground, it appears everyone else had been warned as well.  A bunch of people pulled out and left.  Our neighbors who came in at 8:00 p.m. last night, used a spot light to hook up and set up – packed up and moved.  They had their grills set up, rugs on the ground, Christmas tree decorated  and they just packed up and left.  It could be that something else went down last night because when we left this morning there were a few police officers in the park.  Drug Enforcement….  Maybe there was more than a Christmas Tree that was lit up last night.  Smile  I miss all the fun.

Since the temperatures tomorrow will not make the 50 degree mark we will be staying in.   Scott, please don’t send me any more pictures of your thermometer reading or you will be having company.  By the end of the week it will warm up to 60+ degrees and maybe then we can do a little exploring.

Life is interesting.

Seems like nobody likes the weather! Too cold, too hot, too rainy, too dry, too windy, no breeze! Better than griping about the politicians, I guess, because that gets messy. A day to do laundry is not all that bad! I could use one of those days right now, because the drawers are getting empty and the baskets are overflowing. But today is a trip to Tucson, tomorrow meetings and projects. Slow down, world!

yea scott decided to call me too and brag about rolling down the windows. Of course I had to leave my windows down for a couple days just because Robert washed but didn't dry my floor mats. And there's a big difference between 9 and 80.

I'm going to take a bath and then curl up in bed with my heated mattress pad, heated blanket and golden retrievers.
