Bulow Creek State Park

After picking up the mail and running a few errands we went to Bulow Creek State Park to do a little hiking.  It is a beautiful state park home to the Fairchild Oak, one of the largest live oak trees in the South. They estimate it’s age at 400 to 500 years old.  Considering these magnificent trees live to 600 it still has some life to live.  It is draped in Spanish moss with Resurrection fern adorning it’s branches.  It was beautiful. The trails in the park are well marked.  Well worth the stop and the walk.

How Cold Is It Ma?

Actually it was in the low 50’s and it wasn’t too bad.

I worked on my December and January Calendar and have reservations made.  We will be staying at a couple state parks and  while making the online reservations I notice there were very few sites available.  The sites I ended up with are for itty bitty rv spaces and I am so thankful I have an itty bitty house on wheels.  If I didn’t I would be paying an arm and two legs.

Needless to say I am tired.  Tomorrow St. Augustine Florida.

Enjoy the pictures.
