Ormond Beach Florida

We left Alachua yesterday.  We drove across Florida in rain but at least the temps were in the 50’s.  I kept saying “it could be worse, it could be snow.”   This park is a much needed respite.  It is peaceful, rural, and beautiful plus it is going to be a beautiful day today.  I am getting excited.

My daughter and I like to figure out what word our word verification is.  We both have that option for our blogs to prevent spam.  We make up words you could say.  Some of the word verification words are just hysterical.  I have to say “your word verification is earhop. is that like pancakes made out of cochleas?” is my favorite.

I have now sworn off Walmarts as a place to get my hair cut.  The last Walmart experience was unbelievable.  First she couldn’t cut hair and make it spikey.  I just told her to trim it which she did with an electric razor.  Not without asking her neighbor how to do it.  In Alachua I found a place that knew how to cut hair and did an wonderful job.  I told her I would be back on my way out of Florida.  She is that good.

Hopefully I will have pictures this evening.  Life is great.

It really will warm up here in Florida - just can't tell you when!
If you come further south than you are today, let me know (Melbourne is just a little further down).

Pepper – it’s been much warmer as we pushed south further. Here in LaBelle, it’s been in the 70’s for the past couple of days and we missed the rain yesterday. Safe travels.
