John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park does have a campground but was closed when we visited the park. There is fishing allowed in designated areas as well as three beaches. It has a couple of short trails you can hike. The park also has snorkeling tours, scuba tours, glass bottom boat tours and they also rent boats. It is a beautiful state park both on land and ocean. Mom and I explored the park late morning and then later on in the afternoon we decided to go on a glass bottom boat tour.
Enjoy the pictures of our morning adventures.

Nice pics. This area is on MY To Go list. And I sure hope I can make it there in the Winter. BBBRRR in PA.
Hey! We've actually been there! I think it was about 100 years ago during our working career. I had to go to a conference in Miami, and Suzy was not about to let me go to FLorida without her, so we added a one-week vacation to the trip. First and sofar only trip to Florida. Thanks for helping us revisit -- you saw a lot more than we did!
What a wonderful place to be in the midst of freezing cold temps around the states. Great pics!

You know I'm not sure whether I should be flattered or not. I will say that it looks like something I would want to touch or throw at somebody : )
