Key West Chicken Law – According to the gentleman who drove the trolley there is a law in Key West that protects the free roaming chickens. You cannot harm a chicken in Key West. I am thinking do they serve chicken in Key West? hmmm
Day two at Key West we decided it would be wise to get on a trolley. Our first stop was the butterfly garden then we decided to visit Mallory Street and have lunch. Mallory Street is located on Key West’s historic waterfront. It is filled with gift shops. It also has a Historic Memorial Garden which features 36 bronze bust of the men and women who have had the greatest impact on Key West. Other attractions located at Mallory Square is the Key West Aquarium and Key West Shipwreck Museum. After spending a couple hours in Mallory Square we did a tour of the island and then headed back to Homestead.
Some of Key West famous residents were Ernest Hemmingway, Jimmy Buffet, and several Presidents vacationed here. A few of Key West Landmarks and Historical Places are Ernest Hemingway’s home, Harry Truman Little White House, Fort Zachary, Key West Lighthouse, and the Southernmost Point in the Continental US.
We would have loved to spend another day there but weather and time constraints would not allow. The time we did spend there was a lot of fun.
Enjoy the pictures.

Nice pictures, but I didn't recognize who the busts were commemorating. We'd like to go back to Key West someday, but there are many places to go that we haven't already visited, so we will enjoy your stories and pictures instead! Thanks for sharing.
Wow, Key West Florida~~~~~ sounds so warm!
Your photos are wonderful! I am so glad you are enjoying the state even with the 'cool' weather.
