We Have Arrived

We made it to LaBelle.  The park we are staying in is nice and well manicured.  The price is right.  The neighbors are great.  We were told we had cable but I couldn’t find a hookup (there was 8) that would work.  Our neighbor came out and shared his hookup.  Internet now is another story.  It doesn’t work but I was expecting that.  Basically it is a park designed for long term residents.    We are going to use it for exploring the area, do laundry, and a little housecleaning.   I just need to find a place to take my trash while I am here…

I have been asked about internet.  When the internet is not available I tether my phone to my computer.  My phone has unlimited internet.  It can be a little slow but it uploads my pictures, I can post to my blog, and do a little surfing.  I am real pleased with the service.

The drive to LaBelle was wonderful.  I just enjoy the scenery.  Lots of orange groves, strange looking birds, and the weather was beautiful.  I am looking forward to exploring.  Hopefully I will have pictures tomorrow.

Thanks for the nice comments Pepper. Enjoy your time here in LaBelle, we think it’s a “neat” little community. Maybe we will run into you somewhere; we are just down the road at the Corps of Engineers - Ortona Locks Campground.
