Fort Pierce Florida

We have arrived!  We decided to avoid the interstate and I wish now we hadn't.  It was like driving in city traffic for 2 hours.  We arrived around 2:30, then laundry was done, and dinner was fixed....  Then I just fell sound asleep for about an hour.

This morning we went down to the spring around 8:00 before the crowds.  We were basically the only one down there and we were able to hear the manatees coming to the surface to breath.  It was really unusual.  The river was misty and vultures were roosting in the trees.  It was a beautiful place.

Enjoy the pictures.

How very cool! The vultures in the trees, and the Manatees swimming along - wonderful spot to be.
