Our Last Day

DSC_0141Window with a View – Definitely put manatee watching on your list.  It is truly a unique experience.

Robin, I must come from the land of happy, well adjusted squirrels.  I will agree with you – these are very angry squirrels.

Me and My Dog  It is a cormorant bird.  When it swallows a fish you can actually see it going through the neck.

Tonight is my last night at Blue Springs.  Tomorrow we will be driving to Fort Pierce and we will be visiting with my Uncle Bill, mom’s brother.   Also while in Fort Pierce we plan to meet up with a fellow van owner that we met in Michigan.  Then there is laundry and house cleaning.  I also had the mail forwarded so this will be more of a visiting and maintenance stay.

Tonight I decided to walk all the trails that lead to the bathrooms.  There are several.  Unfortunately I didn’t bring my camera but I met up with a couple armadillos and a rabbit.  Then I picked up my camera and I walked down to the river and walked the boardwalk.    It was peaceful, the non campers had left and all that remained were just a few folks that were enjoying the peace and quiet as well.

Enjoy the pictures.

Your last photo of the bird is really neat - well, they all are, but I especially like that weird looking bird. His neck looks so soft. I've never seen this bird before. I wonder what type of bird he is. :)
