I am on a “dental diet.” I broke one of my front teeth and I am trying to be careful. My rant is why don’t they pull teeth anymore? My uppers are like cornbread. I was told that 20+ years ago and instead of pulling them they are “saved.” So now I have one tooth that is whole and the rest are capped. I also wear a partial that doesn’t fit well and there is nothing they can do to tighten it. So I only wear it out in public. Eating with my partial is difficult because of a bone spur. When I am off hiking or doing an activity that doesn’t involve meeting people I leave them out. All I want is a dentist that will pull all of my uppers and give me dentures. The dentist I was seeing in Tucson has retired and wouldn’t pull them. The dentist I used to see when living in Camdenton does not pull teeth as does my daughter’s dentist. I am on a soft diet again and will be until I can find somebody who can pull all 7 of my teeth. A bottle of whiskey and a pair of pliers…. Nah I am not that brave but I might be if something else breaks in there.
Tomorrow Naples!!!

Oh, I'm sorry to hear that!! Dental stuff simply stinks. I hope you find a reasonable, caring dentist. Good luck!
The Dental Diet. Good One. Anyway the reason they don't pull them is to keep guys like me in business. Anyway whatever you do good luck. And if you really want them pulled come to PA.

Follow up to my 1st comment. You'll have better luck talking an older dentist into pulling your teeth, but you may be sorry if you do. If you can afford it maybe another crown and a new partial would be a better choice. Or implants and crowns over them. Just something to think about. Even though I make them I've had a tooth pulled in the recent past as my other options were too expensive.
Wonderful pictures, Pepper. I wanted to see a larger view of the Strangler Fig (awesome), but alas, it won't enlarge.
As for teeth, mine are awful too and all dentists up here want to do is pull them out. Their reasoning is how dangerous it can be to your bloodstream is you have an infected tooth. Maybe location has something to do with it.
Should you ever come this way, I have a wonderful dentist who probably would pull them after talking to you about it. And he doesn't charge a huge amount.
BTW, it looks like you found a less 'angry' squirrel.
