Spring MEME

What are your 10 favorite things about Spring?
1.) Crocuses peeking out of the snow.
2.) Daylight hours are longer. (ditto)
3.) Hearing the whip-o-wills again.
4.) Soft showers to play in.
5.) Canoe trip. Paddling down a slow moving river.
6.) Taking pictures of flowers, bugs, and weeds.
7.) The sounds you hear at night.
8.) Columbines, Spiderworts, and Honeysuckles.
9.) The smell of newly mowed grass.
10.) Just sitting outside and saying "wow."


Ten things I don't really enjoy about Spring.
1.) Tornadoes and heavy winds and rains that damage and kill. (ditto)
2.) Mosquitoes, ticks, and chiggers.
3.) Grand Daddy Long Legs.
4.) Allergies. (ditto)
5.) Poison Ivy
6.) People driving with their windows down, playing loud obnoxious music.
7.) Road Kill
8.) Crashing my canoe into rocks.
9.) The annual rising price of gasoline.
10. Traffic
