Almost Dead

With having cold weather, we are fortunate that the staff at the campground checks our propane tank. If it is low, they will refill it so we don’t have to worry about running out in the middle of the night. There is a wee problem though. It is usually early in the morning when they swing by, so we don’t hear them checking it. This morning we saw a stocking cap figure walking silently by the front door and Mom grabs the bat. We almost killed one the staff.

Have you ever seen the A&E show “Haunting? “ True stories of possessions, haunted houses, and haunted people guaranteed to keep you on the edge of your seat? One afternoon mom and I were sitting on the edge of our seats watching a show about a possession of a 12-year old child. They were performing an exorcism on him to rid him of several demons. This poor child’s head was spinning, he was speaking in foreign tongues, spewing out profanities, and his little eyes were red. Right in the middle of all this drama, we heard a crunch, crunch, crunch... It was the sound of footsteps right outside our door. Mom grabs the bat. We almost killed the RV repairman.

I wonder why no one ever visits with us anymore.
