Earth Day

Today is Earth Day! My son Scott had a "gig" on 4th Street and I was there to capture it all. I even took Mom's camera so I can make a video of it. He was later approached to play another gig.... Which is way cool. Enjoy

This is a shirt a girl drew on and decorated.  Thought it was interesting.

Holy awesome! He was great and that singer was so cool. Who was that? Is he going to play with them again?

Isn't it great to have a video of your own kid performing? They did a wonderful job. I love drums and he seems to really enjoy playing them. Tell him Bravo...good job. One of my son's (Daniel) played drums in school but he's not done much with them since. My Holly played the tenor sax but, even as the proud Mama that I am, I must admit she pretty much sucked. Still, I love that she gave it her all. Poor thing you should hear her off-key attempts at singing. Good thing she is a super brain and excels as a lawyer else she'd starve trying to make music. (S)

I love that it's always so sunny in your photos. Not that I'm complaining. It's been great weather here these last couple of weeks and I've been out and about a lot more...trying to enjoy every minutes of it. There are lots of early spring buds popping up through the still cold ground. Even the rhubarb is coming up and the chives are about half-way to the plate.

I love the pics too. So per the norm, Pepper, I send my thanks for you sharing them. That one bird is an owl, right?

How is the painting coming along?
What color did you guys decide on?
Later then, Love J-
